Blah and Beautiful

Blah. I went to sleep WAY too late last night. Beautiful. I went to sleep WAY too late last night because we had a fabulous wine tasting party with a lovely group of people*** Blah. I'm working an 8hr day and afterwards have to get our car inspected. Beautiful. My 8hrs are up by 12pm and the car should be finished by 2pm. Then its 50F and sunny here ...BEACH DAY! Blah. We loose an hour of sleep tonight. Beautiful. We're sleeping-in an extra hour in the morning before driving north for our long weekend getaway in quaint Cambden, Rockland, and Rockport Maine! Blah and Beauty is the story of the human experience. Many Blahs (more profound and weighty) fill my heart and mind this morning. (1)Thinking and praying for the people of Japan in their current suffering. (2)Thinking on the previous year (to the day) and its great emotional and spiritual challenges. If I'm honest, the blahs are pushing their way to the forefront of my thoughts today. However, I must keep faith, keep hope, and keep love this morning; otherwise I will loose myself to tears and desperation. Lord, be quick to save and quick to comfort. Be quick to remind us of your lovingkindness, your faithfullness, and your perfect desire for good in all of your creation. Amen.

  1. Blahs have a way of doing that, don't they? Being able to find the beauty in the blah is definitely key to keeping your thoughts content and away from the edge of chaos. I need to do this more too. :) Have a great weekend!!
